Tory Lanez: MEMORIES DON’T DIE

#MondayMotivation  #MusicMonday  On The Run 2  Childish Gambino

The song Pieces gave me chills. If you know me, you know I listen to music while laying down with my eyes closed just to get in a place where I can see what the artists are trying to show us. When the shots go off, I opened my eyes with my heart racing.

Tory Lanez digs deep and leaves everything on his Sophomore album that we all love; passion in the music. I went to check out this album after listening to his Breakfast Club interview because, to be honest, I had no idea that his album dropped but I’m so happy I found out. This album really takes me to a place of wanting to party because the beats are crazy but when you listen to the lyrics of certain songs, Tory Lanez has a gift of storytelling that is unique and clever. A remarkable balance of both can definitely make for a great album and no punches were held on either side.

If feels like Mr. Lanez had something to prove on this album and by God he did. Beat for Beat, bar for bar, he has claimed himself as a voice to be reckoned with from the city of Toronto and probably won’t be letting up anytime soon.

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
